Refraction is the bending of light as it passes through different mediums, it is a captivating natural phenomenon that influences how we perceive the world around us. This painting depicts a striking interplay of black and white rays penetrating the pyramid and refracting at a precise 60-degree angle, evoking a sense of celestial harmony reminiscent of astronomical and astrological sextiles. These rays traverse through an array of vibrant colors, symbolizing the transformative journey toward enlightenment.
At the apex of the pyramid, bold, hard-edge lines meander outward, akin to the sudden and electrifying occurrence of a lightning bolt, suggesting the emergence of unexpected events in the pursuit of understanding.
Towards the base of the pyramid, a distinct juxtaposition of colors separates its left and right sides, yet as one ascends, these divisions dissolve, reflecting the transcendence of boundaries and the unity inherent in elevated consciousness.
